Email template
If you need approval from your manager, youâll find an email template below that you can use. Let your manager know you are interested in a course that will help you predict innovation impact and become a data-driven decision-maker.
The most important thing is to explain how the training will benefit your manager, your team, and your organization. Itâs great if it helps your career, but showing how the training helps your company make more money or have more impact will help you get approval.
This training lets you work on a real project with an experienced innovator. So itâs not an academic workshop that will take you out of the office for a few days. This training is designed to help you make progress on your actual project.
Youâll leave the workshop with a map of how you create value, a model to calculate that impact, a statistical simulation on the uncertainty in your project, and a template to do it again for other projects.

There's a course called Innovation Accounting that I'm interested in. It's a six-week live, online course with peers who are in similar roles to me. It's taught by experienced entrepreneurs and corporate innovators with real experience run by Kromatic, a Silicon Valley company thatâs worked with 60+ multinational corporations, 40+ startup accelerators, 14 different government agencies, and 13 non-profits.
A few skills I'll take away:
- - Measuring product/market fit
- - Calculating projectâs chance of success
- - Proving a project is ready to scale
- - Identifying and plan for key risks
- - Making data-driven âpivot-or-persevereâ decisions
This training lets us work on our actual project with an experienced innovator. So itâs not an academic workshop. Weâll be able to apply the work immediately.
I can also share the learnings with the team so our entire team levels up. The course costs $2,500 USD. If you like, you can review course details here, including the instructorâs bio:
